XHS2-UE Battery keeps dying and does Xfinity replace bad sensors

XHS2-UE Battery keeps dying and does Xfinity replace bad sensors

This is for a window/door sensor XHS2-UE

Here is what has happened:

xfinity Alarm System installed 2018-10-23
2019-02 ~Replaced battery in XHS2-UE
2019-04-16 Replaced battery XHS2-UE again Lasted 13 DAYS.
2019-04-29 Replaced battery XHS2-UE again. Unit remove and set on the shelf next to the alarm system. Will see if it is a distance problem. 13 days
2019-05-13 Battery dead again. Defective unit. 14 days
2019-06-01 Battery dead. 19 days

 

Seems like and bad sensor to me. Does xfinity replce them?

Seems like and bad sensor to me. Does xfinity replce them?

Another option is to try calling XHome Services 1-877-298-0874 and see what they say.  I have had good luck with them.
