I just had a home security system installed. The tech paired the thermostat with my network but said that I needed an electrician to install the thermostat because I had “220 wiring” and they did not work with that. So he left the thermostat with me. I found out that the Zen is not compatible with my electric heat so I called Comcast and was told to return the thermostat to the closest Comcast store, which is a ½ hour drive. I did this. Now, though, my system keeps looking for the thermostat and gives me a communication error. How can I tell my system to “forget” this component.
