First thing to try is to reboot the touchscreen.

Pull the backup battery out of the touchscreen, pull the power. Plug back in and put the backup battery back. Why do you need to?

My Xfinity is no longer working. Additionally, my phone app is no longer functioning.

You can use the Touchpad or you can call XHome Services 1-877-298-0874 and they will do it.

I have installed new batteries and plugged in the touchscreen....do I need to contact Comcast to restart monitoring.  I received a phone call when I unplugged the unit.
