comcast service issues messages

I keep getting emails/text messages/phone calls stating there have been issues with my connection. Comcast never seems to have an answer on what is actually wrong, and I am not noticing any issues with any of my services.  They keep telling me to tighten my cables and restart my router and that is it, nothing else.
