cable bury and internet service

1. We just had installed yesterday, when I turn on the computer, it states no signal and the screen does not allow me to connect to wi-fi and the screen only says no signal and then goes to sleep mode. No body checked this before they left. I went to store, they tell me to connect to wifi but I cannot do that.

 

2. Yes, we want to be home when cable is buries, three dogs and want to make sure it is does properly as there is a garden with many flowers.
