Xfinity agents manages account

Last month I called bcuz my modem was cutting off again. The agent I spoke with was rude. I got my bill today with a different plan. Today I was told that I authorized changes to my supposedly account. I never received any emails or texts about the changes until today from the person I spoke with. I called about my bill and the agent kept insisting that I made these changes. I did NOT give permission for a higher price for the horrific services that I get especially since I called for modem. Now I can't even use the apps to chat or call to resolve this issue since speaking with the agent. My bill went from $67 to $176!!! Why would I have changed this? How can I get any help?
