XRE-00250, TV has been unusable for almost a month
My TV service has not been working for at least three weeks. I have been on live chat multiple times and also spent an hour on the phone Friday night with Advanced Repair trying to fix it. Originally, some channels were giving an error message and not working. I was told to switch out my box to fix this. The new box still gave errors occasionally but since Friday night it has displayed a message XRE-00250 saying the device must be activated. I have had all the activation signals sent from support and Advanced Repair and nothing has worked. On live chat the other night, I was told that I was lying and that the system says my TV service is green so it's working. My TV still doesn't work, it hasn't been working for almost a month, Xfinity has been no help at all. I was just reaching out to see if anyone has found a fix for this or if someone here could help better than phone and chat support.
