I have experienced 2 unexpected wifi outages in the past week. I read a thread online saying that Comcast refunds people for outages. In the comment section a guy complained about his wifi being out. Due to his rural location he does not get very expensive service. He only pays $6.89 a month. A certified Comcast Administrator responded and said he had just refunded him $20 for one day of outage. How? I called Comcast and they only refunded me $3.02 and I pay $56 a month for the service, and it happened twice in a week. Why does one guy get $17 more refunded when I pay 8 times more than him for my bill. I asked the Comcast support why I was only getting $3 back and they said that's just how it works. I'm still sitting here without WiFi and burning through my data and my wifi has been out for a total of 15 hours this week and still counting.
