We had a tech come out this past Saturday to our new home and he informed us that Verizon had cut the Comcast cable to our house. While there the tech pulled off and damaged the Verizon connection to the house. After all this he told us it would be 5-7 business days before we could have a new line run to our home. Since he damaged the Verizon connection they will have repair the connection for us to go with them. Meanwhile the Comcast "new line request" status online is stuck at "Requested" and hasn't gone any farther (i.e. requesting the county to come out and map lines). After calling in to the Comcast Help Center they told me it woule be 2 WEEKS! What is the actual time frame?
Can anyone help expedite this? My wife works from home and since we've moved into a new home she has to travel to a local coffee shop and work each day.
We're about to switch to Verizon.
