Trying to get service for a new home that doesn't have Comcast hookup

I have moved to a new home and I am attempting to get service here. I have used the phone system, and Twitter to attempt to get a survey done but I have had no success. @ComcastCares wants a verification at my local xfinity store but I don't understand why this is required. Ticket #1444959

Escalated to an Official Employee to help with the site survey. Expect a response here

Re: Trying to get service for a new home that doesn't have Comcast hookup

Congratulations on your new home @Brunoleh! Thank you for using the Xfinity Forum to get assistance in determining whether or not your new address is serviceable. I can check the status of this ticket and provide an update if one is available.

In some situations where new services are requested, we need a valid id and a recent utility bill. This would also be to protect your privacy. Most (if not all) of our call center agents have transitioned to work from roles home due to the pandemic.

Going to a store would be the best way to get this taken care of. The agent inside the store will be able to submit the copies of the information we need.

Please send a private message with your full name and service address as it appears on your billing statement. To send a message, click on my name "ComcastChe," then click send a message.
