Trying to change plan and add gigabit service

I'm hoping a Comcast employee can assist me.  Chat has been somewhat helpful, but unable to make the changes necessary.  I have been through a multitude of issues lately that all started with my service working perfrecly for three years and then suddenly the modem and cable boxes started falling off my account.  Now five hours with a tech, a burried line that is unburried, and online chat not able to keep commitments, I've had it.
