The future of X1 ?

The future of X1 is not looking good. Comcast is being sued again over a “global interactive programming guide.” by WhereverTV, an OTT television streaming company.

What does this mean for the future of X1? Comcast has also licensed X1 to other companies so what does this mean for them? Any Thoughts?

nothing new to see here. when the case goes before a judge Comcast simply has to request a summary judgment and failing that appeals to the Washington DC court of appeals (the only patent appellate court). they summarily dismiss 'Alice' claims but still require that the local federal court gather the facts and rule first.
