Technician took my personal modem

When the technician came he took my personal modem and gave me a rental. He said he needed to get back all the old equipment we had. I now have to pay a rental fee for a modem when I had owned a perfectly good one. When he looked at my personal modem he even called Xfinity and they said it did not appear on their system but he still took it because he said he did not want to be responsible if something were to happen. Despite this he still took it. I was robbed of a modem.

Re: Technician took my personal modem

Greetings, @JoseS23! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on the forums. I hope you are having an amazing day. I apologize to hear that the technician had taken your own modem. That's certainly frustrating and would like to look into this further for you. Can you please send me a PM with your first and last name so I may further assist you?
