I've had the triple play service now in this home for over a year and a half. A DVR HD box and a HD box for the bedroom TV. I recently started getting an occasional flicker in the bedroom TV. After ruling out the HDMI cable and the TV I assumed it was box itself. I took the box back to the local Comcast center only for them to give me another X1 Box but then tell me I've never been paying for the one I have?? Now doesn't Comcast have to activate the box when installed? I tried to call customer service and after being on hold forever a supervisor finally gets on the phone and oh....the call was abruptly disconnected.. Coincidence? Think not. Would appreciate any help you can give.
