TV Picture and Voice interruption

If I am paying for TV reception 24/7, when will our TV picture and voice reception be cleared up.  The last three days have been very frustrating, with all the interruptions.  I would think Comcast would at least alert customers of the problem and when it might be resolved.  Poor customer service on the reception and on the informing customers of the problem.  When can customers expect a resolution?
