I'm a new Comcast customer. I have my own modem, so I ordered performance 55 online and tried to self set up. But, it didnot work, then I called Comcast customer service. She set up for me from her computer, and it did not work too. She made an appointment for tech. come. Will I be charged for it?
If they send a tech, they charge you a "failed install" fee. This fee covers what would have been your install fee.
