Services Mistakenly Disconnected

I went to an Xfinity location today to change my plan and to turn in my Xfinity modem because I bought my own. I was informed by the employee that the plan has been successfully changed and I need to register my new device with the Xfinity app once I got home. Upon opening the app, I get informed that my services are disconnected with no other information. How do I go about fixing this?
