Replacing a 29-year-old RG-59 cable run from MPOE to street

Hello,

I had an Internet service outage caused by a Comcast tech filtering me out due to my cable run causing excessive noise on the network. The tech who responded advised me that I should replace my inside wiring with RG-6 runs with solid metal boots, which I did, and to contact Comcast to have a new run of RG-6 pulled from the street to the MPOE.

The run was put in when the house was built in 1989. It's RG-59, and it's in pretty bad shape. The plastic insulation is starting to rot, and it's been kinked a few times.

There does appear to underground conduit from the box by the street that runs about 80' to the MPOE on the side of the house.

I'm in San Jose, CA, zip code 95111.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
