Received an email saying "We received your cancellation request" when I did not submit one

I see that others have had this same issue, but I can't find any reference to managing this request on my dashboard. It would be nice to be able to manage this myself, since I do not want to cancel my internet. I looked over the email and it looks to be valid (correct email address, https: links, etc.) but I'm still suspicious so rather than clicking on anything, I came here hoping to get a solution.

This is most likely a phishing attempt. Do not reply to it!

If you still have service just ignore and delete the message.

If you do lose service call 1-800-XFINITY.
