I recently discovered and tried to use xFi online. I received the message saying that I need to upgrade my equipment so that it would be compatible with xFi. So, assuming I had old equipment (but not knowing off hand exactly what gateway model I had) I followed the link and ordered the new gateway. When I checked, I saw I was currently using "Voice and Data Modem ArrisTG862G
I open the boxes Comcast sent me: 2x Cisco DPC3941T and 2x Arris TG1682G.
Each box contains one of each: Voice and Data Modem-AR TG862G and CISCO DPC3941T(XB3)
I am hesitant to even use any of these now especially as I already had a compatible gateway to begin with. I now have 5 Gateways! What is going on here?!? Which should I use?
FWIW, I have Internet Essentials (and only internet).
