Hi ComcastJoeTru, I am in the exact same situation, my underground cable (across the street) needs to be replaced (I'm a new customer). I got an installation date of January 24, 2018.... It is by far longer than what is explained could be reasons for delays. Who should I really talk to here?
Hi, Onespoone - I checked your account and notes. Because there is a manhole across the street, we cannot schedule the install earlier. Please note, this is not only about the physical work itself, we have to get a permit from the city and it takes time.
Well actually it seems as if they came the day before yesterday and did the installation. It appears that the 2 months scheduling time is just a placeholder to have it completed within this time frame. So it was actually a 10 days wait time for the installation and not 2 months.
