Poor service and response.

I am waiting on a tech service call in a week because the X1 boxes keep going into boot/PSt loops. I've cycled them, called tech, changed cables and the response is always, "it must be your wires." I got tired of this excuse so I wire the small bedroom box and a TV directly to the splitter where the outside line enters the house (with a comcast provided coaxial cable no less). There is literally a four foot cable (theirs) and a splitter (theirs) separating this box from the outside line... lo and behold it fails at the exact same times as all the rest of them... hmm, seems pretty definitive it is the outside line, but we'll see how much they try to blame my wiring.
