Long story short I went to the xfinity store and picked up a xb6 gateway the other day. It worked fine up until today when I called in to cancel the tech appointment I had scheduled for tomorrow. I cancelled because I was able to pick-up the xb6 and didnt need the tech install. Now my gateway has converted back to my old performance pro plan and no one on the phone seems to be able to just push the correct config file. Side note when I go into the xfinity app it has me listed as the gigabit tier. Please help.

OK I was able to fix this myself. I just reran the equipment activation. It is upsetting that I was told by several xfinity reps that there was no way to resolve this until a tech came out on the 17th. Very disappointed with this level of technical support. It literally was about 4 clicks to straighten out.
