Over priced and poor customer service

Hi,I’ve been a long time Comcast customer and always paid up to date.
As my bill has gone up up many times over the years, I was sold a triple play
Package many years ago to bring the price down — thus giving us a phone line we
Did not want or need.

In an effort to save money, I got a written quote from a competitor today 1/12/18,
For nearly identical service less the phone line, I was quoted $137.30 per month for first three months then $172.30 per month (including tax and fees)for remainder of 2 year contract.

So currently I pay $242.64 per month (including tax and fees)to Comcast.
I now see I am over paying for the services I need.
This is $70.34 difference per month, pretty substantial

So I called Comcast today 1/12/18 representative Leah quoted me
$232 per month to keep my current service less the phone line. But that’s the best they would do.

I checked with my wife , and called Comcast back

Today 1/12/18 I talked to representative Kelly, I told her I would like to tAke
The offer for now and then potentially cancel all service once we connect with a
New provider. She said she would charge me more than I currently pay , and she would not
Honor offer that representative Leah gave me.

So here is why I am writing today.
Despite being a very long time customer,
I now know that I’ve been being overcharged for service,
And furthermore mislead or told false information from
2 different Comcast representatives today.
I certainly don’t feel like a valued customer and in fact feel like
I’m being ripped off and treated poorly.

I wanted to give opportunity for Comcast to rectify this relationship.

i guess reading around round this is basically how everyone else is being treated ? I just don’t understand why some get better deals than others

Update.

 

i have been in communication with online rep Comcast.....

 

thus far I’ve been offered substantially less service than I currently 

recieve for an estimated savings of $1.96 per month.(including tax and fees)

 

yes I’m scratching my head here too....

 

so to sumarize , the first phone rep offered my same service less a phone line for $10 saving per month. The second phone rep denied the first offer and said she would raise my price or I should 

cancel service. Now the third Comcast online rep offers to substantially cut my services and save me $1.96 per month or basically keep price the same .

 

more run around from comcast, a different answer with every rep you talk with.

i just don’t get it,

hopefully rep Comcast....  can try and help here.
