I had recently signed a new contract for INTERNET ONLY on February 13th and on my account I was listed as "You currently pay $49.95 a month", however after the first payment processed it now states "You currently pay $69.95 a month". I do not understand why my bill has gone up and would like to know why it has. I signed an agreement guaranteeing me the price of $49.95 less than a month ago (sent to me by the Comcast customer retention department!), why has that risen?
It is written in all Comcast contracts that they can change the price at any time. My last 2 year contract price did not last 30 days.
Whether that's in the contract or not, I do not understand how that is legal. Really shady practices if that's what they're doing.
