No service - inactive cable wall outlet

I’m trying to activate service is in my new house, and can’t get past the Gateway Activation step in the xFi app because the only cable wall outlet in the house is not active. I’ve tried calling customer support, chatting with online support, sending a DM on twitter, and requesting a call from an agent, and I can’t get ahold of anyone. I keep getting routed through the automated chat assistant, and I don’t know what to do. How can I get ahold of someone to help?
