New service area request

How do you request service in a new area. Why would Xfinity not put service in my area rather than losing a customer

________
Lots of reasons, money (there has to be a substantial return on investment, legal (they aren’t legally able to, location (you’re nowhere close to existing service). It has to make sense for them to do it. Ultimately, it’ll take a site survey to verify yes or no and costs to you. It’s been escalated up to an Official Employee to help get you started, expect a long waiting time as the team that does the site surveys may be off because of the pandemic

Re: New service area request

Hello, Csmith154004! Welcome to the Xfinity Forums. I'm excited to hear you are looking to enroll in our services, and I would love to work with you to get a serviceability ticket submitted to see if we can run service to your home.  Please send me a private message with your first and last name, as well as your service address so I can assist.
