New modem

I received a letter for you for an equipment update for a new modem wich will replace my old modem.  Supposedly this is on you!  Will my monthly bill be increased because of this update?

Re: New modem

If you've been leasing your old modem from Comcast, then you won't get charged extra. You're likely getting the upgrade because your old modem can't handle the faster speeds that Comcast introduced into your area.
