New customer pricing

I am going to be cancelling all comcast services in the next week after 18 years due to pricing. I am now retired and find the pricing too high on a fixed budget. I would like to keep internet but the best pricing is for new customers only. How long do I have to wait to become a new customer? I have seen $49/mo for internet with 2 yr contract advertised. What can you do for me as a long time customer.
