New Home Service / Construction Request Unanswered

I contacted Comcast in May about transferring service to our new home, which Comcast said it would be fine. I went to submit a move request and the address could not be found. After weeks of calls and requests the address was finally added into the Comcast system. Next, in the process was Comcast telling me they had to do a serviceability request. Once Comcast completed that then they told me it needed a survey even though the Comcast table is at the top of my property. Now for three weeks I have been trying to get an update on when a line will be installed. I have been without internet and cable at our home for over a month and still no services or line run to the home. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences
ever trying to get these services to my home.

Your issue has been escalated to the Comcast Team available to the Forums.  A member of that team will reply to your post as quickly as they are able, so check back often.

I am having this same problem we have been trying to get service at our new construction for over 3 months.  We already have dug the proper piping and we have had the land surveyed.  We have had 2 technicians come to the house just to tell us that they don't work in the construction department and can't install our service until the construction service team runs 1 wire that we already have a conduit for.  This is extremely frustrating and no one in the customer service department has been able to help us.  We have asked to speak or meet with someone in the construction department and no one will ever call us back.  We tried to be proactive and get the service early to help with lead time, but now we are about to move into the house and need answers.  This is extremely frustrating and wasting our time (over 12 hours in total).  I hope that your solution has been resolved.
