I’ve been trying to get cable in a new home for 3 months now and it’s been an absolute horrible experience. I keep being told we’re waiting on permits and every time I receive a date it get extended. Every time I call I get unclear answers and get told it will be ready by the new date they have. I have no idea what else to do here.
I feel your frustration. I have been trying to get service to a travel trailer parked at new construction site for almost a month now. The service ticket (#1697475) has sat in disregard for a couple of weeks now. The service was supposed to be installed March 4, 2020, but when I call no one can give me any answers. It has been "escalated" several times, supposedly. Every house around me, 200' in any direction, has Comcast service. I have been a Comcast customer since they began servicing our area, but at this point I will probably have to go with AT&T.
