Multiple daily internet outages in my area for the past couple of weeks
For the past couple of weeks, I have been experiencing several 10-20 minute internet interruptions every day. These are not related to my equipment. These are actualy Xfinity-reported outages. It makes it extremely frustrating to deal with while working from home. Also, reaching somebody on the phone to discuss the issue is impossible as far as I can tell.
Is there some way to find out if this is going to be the new normal, or find out if they are working on the infrastructure? If this continues I am not sure what I am going to do, since Xfinity has a monopoly on internet in my area.
Before you ask, my computer is connected via Ethernet, not WiFi, but the result is the same as my modem shows the flashing amber light when the service drops out.
