Moving to new address. Unable to transfer service

I moved into a new home, but was unable to transfer service. Comcast told me that my address was not serviceable at the moment. The subdivision that I moved isn't new (10+ years old), but the townhome that I moved into is new (just finished last month). I am currently living in the home, but Comast stated that it is still listed as under construction in their system.

 

Does anyone have an idea of how long it typically takes for Comcast to provide service to a home in an established subdivision? Comcast does provide service to homes in the subdivision, and the subdvision has put in a request (per the Comcast rep, a level 2 request). I was also told that someone would come out to survey my home. I wasn't given an estimated date on when this would occur. I was trying to hold out on Xfinity service because I really would prefer to stay with the company if the wait isn't too long.

Only your local Construction team, that does the site survey, will have the answer. Factor in budgetary constraints and local permits into the time frame you’re looking for

@CCAndrew  Thanks for the response.  I submitted a site survey request 2/24 and was told it would take 10 business days to process. I guess now, I should just wait on a response from the construction team.

I escalated it up to an official employee just to verify
