I am trying to get new Xfinity internet service for my new home that I am moving into on Saturday 4/11.
I chose to pick up my equiptment in-store so that I don't need a tech to come to my house. On the website as I was choosing which store I was going to pick it up at, it indicated the one I chose would be open. When I went to the store it was closed due to the pandemic and likely not to open for a while.
I called Xfinity customer service to see if I could get the modem shipped, no answer. I tried to use the automated chat service and it's not sophistacated enough to really answer my question. I tried searching online for support, nothing there. I tried to update my order online to in-home installation and I am unable to do that.
I currently have Optimum and I am unable to have that service transferred to my new address. Anyone have any idea what I can do?
