This self install is a joke, I have a modem and cannot set it up and does not match the training video, I just moved (two blocks) and called comcast on the phone for 2 hours is nonsense and I had better advice from my cat, unplugging and plugging in 8 times I know the ship is sinking of expert tech knowledge   Can comcast have someone that can explain setting up a simple box , same account, same serivice etc.  please

Do you know if you even have a live cable signal? What troubleshooting have you done besides unplugging/plugging in your modem?

No just found out the tech did nothing but drop off a box so waste of time, why would we turn it on seems reasonable when someone moves I guess, so now I have a tech again coming tomorrow however I cannot even get into hotspot with my account so I think I am down to voodoo just for that any clue in just getting hotspot back ?
