I recently moved to a new home and requested to move Xfinity service to my new address, a technician is scheduled but due to the COVID-19 I was told that technician will only perform outside work, I need to perform self-installation at home. However there is no wall cable outlet in my new home and I need the technician to set it up for me, how can it be done? Will I need to send a secondary request to set up and activate a cable outlet?
No, you might have to find an electrician. Or when the tech comes, ask what they can do, communicate your concerns with the tech but because of the pandemic that’s the new normal for now. They’ll go as far as they safely can both for yours and their safety
