I bought a modem from Amazon and called Comcast Customer care and activated my device. After a year, Comcast came back stating the device belongs to them and started charging rent $10/ month. My point if this device belongs to Comcast not sure how they havent noticed it and activated the device in first place. If you guys would have told me that this is a black listed one, i may have returned back to the seller. I feel Comcast is working with the grey seller to sell all their unwanted device and after a year haunting their customers. It is been a year im still struggling with this issue and still no way to come out of it.
