Loyalty? Been a customer since 1998

I have been a customer since 1998.  My price gets higher but my service is basically the same.  When I compare pricing with other carriers, I could get more as a new customer with them.  I actually spoke to an independant sales rep from Xfinity, who tried to convince me to cancel my service and reopen as a new customer in my wifes' name, to get the best current deal.  This would have given me the security system at the same price as my triple play....actually cheaper???

What the incentive for being loyal?
