Land line and cell phone

My land line calls my cell phone several times every day and night. It rings twice then shuts down. Of course at 2am that means no sleep while my adrenalin gets back to normal. I put my phone on “do not disturb” but these calls still get through.

 

NO ONE has the number for my land line so it surprises me how many calls come in. 

 

There is something not right about the land line and it’s getting pretty old.

Do you perhaps have a security system involved?  If so your landline is "checking in".
