I am in my xfinity account and currently using my roommate's xfinity modem for internet service. I am moving in two weeks. When I click "Schedule a Move" I get this: "
Please contact the account owner to continue."
I also tried adding a user to my account to see if that would work, but it would not let me.
How can I schedule internet installation in my new apartment? Thank you.

Do you have a modem associated with your account? What type of service exactly do you have? Is your user name actually a user on your roommate's account and you don't really have an Xfinity account of your own that you pay a bill for?
I remembered that I had their cust serv phone number in my contacts list in my phone, so I called and got it taken care of. Very fortunate. Their phone number isn't online anywhere and it was not going to happen without a call to them.
