My prior apartment has a "bulk" plan with Comcast and provided a basic TV adapter as part of the rent. When I moved in, I upgraded to better TV plus internet and phone. At the time of the upgrade, Comcast installed three new boxes and took away the basic TV boxes. Now I have moved and have canceled my Comcast account. When I canceled, the rep said I must return all equipment to Comcast. However, my old apartment management says I must returned my upgraded boxes to the maintainence people at the apartment building. I want to make sure I get properly credited for the return of the equipment. Who is correct?

I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
We strongly recommend you return the equipment to us so it's removed from your account and you are not charged for unreturned equipment down the line. We don't suggest you return them to maintenance, in fear they will be used on another account. To avoid any issues for you, I'd be more than happy to ship you some return labels for your equipment so you can mail them back.
In order assist you, please send me a private message verifying your first and last name, street address including city state and zip code, and the full account number or phone number associated with your canceled services and we can go from there.

Thank you for your response, ComcastChe. There is a local Comcast store nearby, so I will probably take the boxes there rather than ship them.
Ok, cool. That's fine as well. Please make sure you get a copy of your receipt and hang on to it in case you need it in the future. If there's anything more we can assist you with, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for being the BEST part of Comcast, take care!
