How to find out if a technician visit is needed at my new location?

We set up our move on line with Comcast but we have no idea if a technician needs to install a drop, etc.

The online moving page or subsequent email communications should be able to confirm whether there was previous service at the new address (remote activation should work with self-installation kit) or a tech visit is required to install it.
