HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a very long time customer.  I called the retention department today to get help lowering my bill and the completely useless person on the phone only offered plans to raise my bill instead.  I was shocked and disappointed. She said sorry, you are free to move on to another company. I could not believe what I heard given that so many people are leaving cable in droves.  You would think they would try and retain customers. I like my service but need to lower the cost...I even asked her to match the new customer offer plan I saw online and she said no I can't do that. So Comcast is not willing to do anyting especially for long term customers? No one in that department cared whether I stayed or left Comcast apparently. Such terrible service.  Shocking.
