I wanted to try something new I thought the price was perfect for the mobile phones for my family. I received a package from FedEx on Thursday and I proceeded to activate the cell phones. When I call but did a chat with staff and Comcast with Xfinity. I was told my new number would be a 202 number Washington DC. I live in Maryland there for my area code should be 301,240,443. My family and I decided we did not want a 202 area code for our phone service. I went to an Xfinity store today and cancel the service and turned in so far as still being charged a $35 restocking fee
Just because I did not know that having the appropriate area code was not something that was automatic with Xfinity mobile.
