Comcast has the worst customer support

I ha, ve been a Comcast customer for 20 years. I spend hundreds each month. They are happy to take $, but not to help.

1) You can't get through to a live person without jumping through 1 million hoops, and hours.

2) Chat support doesn't have access to same information.

 

I have been calling chatting  for 6 days now.  Downed wires after storm - and can't get any one here.  First, 4 days to get back to me  Appointment on Monday - no one showed by by 5 (as mentioned).  Then no one by 8pm.  They scheduled for 8 - 12 next day (no one). I have everything documented, case numbers, chat transcriptions. 


Even the supervisor would not help or commit.  I am really hatting comcast.  I am seriously considering switching -- comcast is very expensive, with bad customer service.  I know this gripping will not help - but wanted to get it off my chest!

I'm right there with you!  I'm getting a dozen emails a day about updating my account, and email being cancelled.  Am worried that it's spam, so don't want to respond until I confirm; but I can't get through to anyone at Comcast.  Like you, I have tried every manner imaginable short of carrier pigeon or smoke signal.  Considering they're supposed to be a technology resource, this is even more ridiculous!

Most likely spam.  If you're using webmail you should see an official logo showing the email is from Comcast/Xfinity.  If you don't see that logo chances are it's spam/phishing.
