Collections Department Please! My account has been Disconnected

Let me say, I have been a Comcast customer for years now. I use both the mobile and home cable/ internet. Unfortunately, due to lost of job I couldn’t catch up with one or two months payments. Before I knew I have gotten so many charges from Comcast even when I was temporary disconnected and I wasn’t using the home cable nor the internet. I finally called to see what can done, only to discover the charges are so high and the customer representative said I have to pay $283 before my account can be restore. She refused to do anything until I pay $283. I don’t have that kind of money now, I wish I do. I am out of job and now a student. I am ready to consider a lower monthly payment plan or arrangement and also a lower service that I can afford in my current status. I hope someone respond to this
