Can’t activate my xFi Gateway

Can’t activate my xFi Gateway

I recently purchased a self installation kit, I followed everything on the instructions kit and when I try to use the xFi app, it keeps showing a message saying I need to upgrade my service/equipment...PLEASE HELP
