I've been getting at least 2 Chinese language Robocalls each and every day on my Comcast landline for the past 6 months or more. Every time they have a different spoofed caller ID which gets by the Nomorobo that I have installed (this morning's robocall said it was the White House calling). Even though I never answer them, they always leave a 15-40 second message on the answering machine and they are always disruptive.
Surely there is something Xfinity can do to stop all these calls.
We are getting them too. We are up to at least 6-8/day. The Caller ID always says "Out of Area". There is no entry in the Call History.
Pain in the butt trying to work at home with this going off all the time and no way to shut them off.
It is a big problem but no response from Xfinity on fixing it.
I've heard this is happening to businesses and hospitals where the same type calls run through all of their extensions and basically tie up their phone systems. Is that what we are in for next?
