I had a cable cut when I had my septic serviced last week. When the tech came out to run a temporary line, I showed him that the previous run was laid from the street, around the back of the house, and down the other side. It ran right across my septic tank in my back yard. He ran a new line across my front yard, across my driveway, and up the side of the house where my connection is. He told me he would put in for a driveway bore, since it shouldn't run across the septic tank. Today, while I was at work, my daughter told me they buried a new cable in the same location as the previous one. I told the first tech that ran the temp line that I had more work to be done in the backyard. Now, in a few months, this new cable will have to be cut yet again to access the tank for further repairs. Why didn't Comcast bury it in the place that the original tech requested? They will only have to come out again in a few months to run another line.
