Business->Residential Being Charged for “Professional Install”

Hi Folks -

I have been a reasonably happy Business Comcast customer at my home address for many years, own my modem and generally get the 50MB we pay for.

Not needing fixed IP addresses any more, dropped that off the Service at least a couple years ago and this week initiated an order for 100MB residential service.

Despite having requested that the line be ‘opened’ for residential service and desire to re-use my existing “Professional Install”, the system is requiring I pay again. Anyone have experience / pointers on how to have a seemless conversion and not pay for an install I don’t need?

Separately - the one reservation I have about switching is upload speeds. Any comments on the low upload speeds quoted for residential vs. what to expect in reality?
